Recreational Trail System / Sledding permits are available for purchase to the general public. Anyone using the trails / snow hills must have and carry a valid, current recreational license. The rules governing usage of the trail system are detailed in the Nutrient Farm Recreational License Agreement. Recreational licenses are available as One Day or Annual passes.

Large groups or Corporate events on the farm are open for discussion; please send you idea our way.

Proceeds

Fees collected to help cover the recurring expenses of:

 › Maintaining and upgrading the trails
 › Adding new trails to the system
 › Mitigation of litter and other nuisances
 › Introducing new ammenities

The system consists of the following trails and winter sledding hills:

› Sledding Area w/ parking (vehicular & pedestrian access for Winter Sledding)
› Nutrient River Trail (vehicular & pedestrian access to the Colorado River)
› Nutrient BLM Traiel (pedestrian access to the Vulcan BLM Allotment)
› Nutrient Farm Trail (pedestrian access across Nutrient Farm)
› Nutrient Adventure Trail (pedestrian access to the Grand Hogbacks)

HUNTERS / TRAPPERS

Accessing the public BLM Vulcan Allotment through Nutrient Farm is PERMITTED under the following conditions:

* PRIVATE PROPERTY:  Nutrient Farm

Hunting and Trapping (collectively "Hunting") is NOT PERMITTED on the private property.


** PUBLIC PROPERTY:  Vulcan BLM Allotment

May - Hunting is NOT PERMITTED
Every May, Nutrient Farm has a large cattle grazing operation on the Vulcan BLM Allotment.  For the safety of our employees and livestock, Hunting access thru Nutrient Farm is not permitted during the month of May.

June through April - Hunting is PERMITTED
Every year from June through April, Nutrient Farm is happy to facilitate access for Hunters (carrying a current "Nutrient Farm Recreational Trails Permit") and their equipment (guns/traps) to cross the South end of Nutrient Farm’s PRIVATE East Pasture on the gravel road known as “Nutrient BLM Trail” to reach the entrance of the Vulcan BLM Allotment (yellow gate).
