Barrel Compound (or Barrel Compost) is based on Maria Thun’s recipe. It contains BD #502-507, basalt and eggshells. It is used when access to BD compost is limited or unavailable. It should not be regarded as a long-term substitute for BD compost.
How to use BC Biodynamic Compound Spray
Stir for twenty minutes in 3-5 gallons of water per unit. It should be applied immediately after stirring. One unit is enough for up to one acre. Bc should be applied in the afternoon.
BC Barrel Compound is ideal between crop rotations or ANY time the soil is distributed by cultivation. BC is a good foliar spray, especially good as a foliar spray for brassicas.
