Sweet corn weighs about 0.5-1 pound per ear, depending on size and variety. Rich in carbohydrates, fiber, and vitamins like C and B, it’s a summer staple, often boiled, grilled, or steamed for its crisp texture and naturally sweet flavor. Harvested in summer when kernels are plump and release a milky liquid when pierced, it’s grown widely in warm climates like the U.S. Midwest.
